I’m Margarita Varas and I have taught both English and Spanish as foreign languages over a decade in secondary schools and online.

I have a BA in Applied Languages by Portsmouth University, UK.

I started teaching Spanish there in secondary schools, from year 9 to A-level.

I have also taught English in private language schools here in Spain and have prepared students for the Cambridge and Trinity Exams.

In the last few years, I needed more flexibility to combine my job and taking care of my family, so I started teaching English communication skills online to employees from different companies in various professional fields. And I loved it!

Since then, I decided that I would also teach Spanish and English online for academic purposes and it’s a delight!

Today, I work with students all over the world and I see them thrive and improve their language skills and focus even better than in a normal classroom setting.

I love to see my students grow in confidence and become more competent and independent, providing them with effective strategies so they achieve their goals and increase their understanding and test scores.
